I am SO.OVER this Texas heat! I know everybody is tired of us complaining about it, but it’s been ROUGH this summer! Last week, I walked from my car to Target and thought I was going to pass out from the heat radiating from the concrete. And then when I walk in, there’s Halloween and fall stuff everywhere. AS IF.
But the weatherman last night said we should expect a “cool” 90 today with a hope of rain for the weekend (they like to dangle that carrot in front of me all the time….) and actually it’s 86 right now. A Great Norther has blown in!
So now I can at least pretend it’s about to be Fall.
And so here are my Fall pins that will become a reality next week on my plate or in my house!
Baked zuchinni fries. Seriously, I don’t like many vegetables AT.ALL. But I made some baked zuchinni slices last week and can’t get enough! Can’t wait to try them as “fries!”
Crock Pot + pork tenderloin + Root Beer + BBQ sauce. Could it get any easier?

And finally some Fall Decor….Do you think if I make these fall crafts and put them on my mantle that I could pretend it was a nice crisp 60 degrees outside? Considering it is September and all…
Easy, simple decoration. Corn kernels and a candle inside a vase.
Also, easy peasy….coat a candle in Mod Podge, roll in Epsom salt!
